My life and times as a professional MakeUp Artist

Make Up Artist’s  work on location at times so I have come to depend on my travel must have’s to give me ease, comfort and a touch of luxury while away from home.

When I fly, I choose to wear  Fiorentini + Baker Ella boots ( that these boots share the name of my beloved pup makes me love them even more).  I am all about ease and efficiency when I travel and these uber comfortable boots have a zipper in the back that makes them quick and easy to pull off when going thru security.

Travel Accessories:

The digital travel scale for luggage has become another indispensable travel must have.  This might be a unique travel accessory that is not widely know about but should be.   I never want to redistribute my luggage at the airport again because of weight limits and this amazing devise saves me from that.  Super easy to throw in the bag when I am done and makes traveling worry free.

Travel battery operated electric toothbrush . I am a freak about brushing my teeth and used to travel with my regular sized electric toothbrush until  good friends of mine gave me this (thanks KG & Dean) and how I can save the space for other fun things to pack. Slim Sonic Toothbrush

Staying hydrated is not a luxury it’s a necessity so I carry my own personal Brita Water Filter Bottle.  It’s super easy to throw in your bag and you can fill up at any water fountain or sink and have filtered water on the go.

Herban Essentials towelette’s in individual packets have essential oils and are a so refreshing.  The lavender ones are great to use before bed to help you relax and get a good night sleep.

Speaking of getting a good nights sleep…

I always travel with a few pairs of earplugs to ensure that I get the best night sleep possible away from home.  You can find them at drug stores, on travel websites and your local shooting range!

Re-usable bags by Neat-os (clean by throwing them in the washing machine or dishwasher and use again) help me stay  organized, I put my vitamins in them, snacks… you get the idea, anything that you would use a Ziplock for you can use this fantastic ‘green’ resource for.

A favorite luxury travel accessory for me are travel size scented candles  (Jo Malone candle scent’s are amazing and long lasting… it’s definitely a great indulgence) and I always pack a lighter or matches.

One of my new favorite on the go beauty products is the cuticle oil to go by OPI, super easy to use with a built in brush to apply to cuticles and the package is the size of a lip gloss so there is no excuse not to pop one in your purse or suitcase.

I am known for having great tasting Paleo meal replacement bars with me both at home and away. Because health and fitness are important I pack one of these bars for every day that I will be gone because it keeps me from grabbing something that’s really high in fat and empty calories when I get hungry.

Finally I’ve got to have my Turbo Fire HIIT workout DVD’s & exercise bands.  These are super compact so there are no excuses not to workout in my hotel room .  Just pop the DVD in my laptop and work up a sweat.

And the best for last is a photo of my sweet dog Ella which is always tucked into my suitcase!  A little reminder of your loved ones at home is the perfect travel accessory!

Well there you go… a peak at some of my travel accessories and little ways I experience luxury while I am on the road.

A final note… I have in no way been compensated for sharing the items listed here… these are simply what I have come to depend on when I travel.
